vinyl & wine

dover heights, nsw - CONSTRUCTION COMMENCING EARLY 2026

A single room transformation, this project is small but mighty. Our client came to us wanting to reinvent the first floor landing from an unused space into a central gathering space within the first floor. A spot to enjoy the morning sun with a cuppa and a book or spend the evenings playing some records and sipping wine.

The design takes its cues from the gentle curves found throughout the home, a two storey brick house from the nineteen twenties with a distinctive semicircle facade. The joinery was shaped to echo these forms and create a sense of comfort and ease.

Beyond the built elements, we developed the full interior scheme. This included the selection of fabrics, soft furnishings, art and accessories to create a cohesive and inviting space that feels both playful and refined.

Modern living room with built-in curved white sofa, wooden bookshelves, a window with green trees outside, a television on the wall, and decorative wall sculptures.

“Working with Denisse on my home has been an absolute joy. Over two major renovations and additional design projects, she has created a warm, inviting space that I truly love - a house that feels timeless yet completely functional. Her passion for design and commitment to the bones of the house shine through in every detail. From cabinetry design to the perfect colour palette and interiors, Denisse embraced the art deco, P&O-inspired character of our home and brought elegance and comfort together seamlessly. Every room feels intentional and welcoming, and we couldn’t be happier with the result.” - Kate Lawrenson
